ABU DHABI, 15th July, 2022 (WAM) -- Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, offered his condolences on the death of Shinzo Abe, Former Japanese Prime Minister, during his visit to the Japanese Embassy in Abu Dhabi, where he was received by Akio Isomata, Japanese Ambassador to the UAE.

Several ministers and senior officials also offered their sincere condolences, including Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy; Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, Minister of Climate Change and the Environment; Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority and Member of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi; Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development and Member of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi; Shehab Al Fahim, UAE Ambassador to Japan; Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for International Development Affairs; Yacoub Al Hosani, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation For International Organisations Affairs; Abdulla Alblooki, Acting Assistant Under-Secretary for Protocol Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Rashed Abdul Karim Al Balooshi, Under-Secretary of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi; Fahad Al Kayyoomi, Under-Secretary of the Department of Governmental Support; Ahmed Mohamed Al Rumaithi, Under-Secretary of the Department of Energy-Abu Dhabi; and Salama Ajlan Al Amimi, Director-General of the Authority of Social Contributions.

Members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to the UAE also offered their condolences.
