SHARM EL-SHEIKH, 18th June, 2022 (WAM) -- President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, today received in Sharm El-Sheikh His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.

In a statement carried by Ambassador Bassam Radi, the official spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency, the two sides highlighted the importance of boosting Egyptian-Bahraini cooperation and coordination, especially in the economic and investment sectors, reaffirming the bilateral deep-rooted ties between the two countries.

Radi added that the two leaders welcomed the upcoming summit hosted by Saudi Arabia between the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, and the United States of America.
