TEHRAN -- Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Tuesday that Iran has prepared a peace proposal for Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Press TV reported.

CAIRO -- Sudan will propose further week-long talks to continue preparing the draft for a final agreement over Ethiopia's giant Nile River dam, said the Egyptian water ministry on Tuesday.
The decision was made at the trilateral virtual meeting held on Tuesday among Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan over Ethiopia's Nile dam. (Egypt-Sudan-Ethiopia)

CAIRO -- Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi and visiting Chairman of Sudan's Sovereign Council Abdel Fattah al-Burhan on Tuesday expressed the two countries' commitment to a binding deal over the filling and operation of the controversial Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), the President's office said in a statement.
"The two leaders stressed that the water issue is a matter of national security to their countries," said the president's spokesman Bassam Rady, adding they have reached a consensus on the disputed issues of the GERD. (Egypt-Sudan-GERD)

RIYADH -- The Saudi-led coalition said on Tuesday that it intercepted a bomb-laden drone launched from Yemen, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The drone was launched by the Houthi rebels and was targeting the southern region of Saudi Arabia, Turki Al Maliki, the coalition spokesperson, was quoted as saying. (Saudi Arabia-Houthis-Drone)
