Clinton family on the road for Obama
Egypt News.Net Sunday 12th October, 2008
In the latest political posturing in the US, which has seen Senator Obama build a steady lead over Senator McCain in both national and state polls, Democratic heavyweights, Bill and Hillary Clinton, have appeared at their first joint rally for Senator Obama in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Ms Clinton, who was defeated by Obama in the Democratic nominating primary contests, said she understood the campaign was too important for her to be sitting on the sidelines.
She said: "I haven't spent 35 years in the trenches fighting for universal health care, for children, for families, for women, for middle-class people to see another Republican in the White House squander the promise of our nation and the hopes of our people."
Mr Clinton, the former president, said he would now join the Obama campaign trail to other parts of the country.
Meanwhile, The New York Times has reported that Republican leaders are frustrated that Senator McCain has not been able to bring stability to his campaign with a clear message.
Senator McCain visited his campaign headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, on Sunday before returning to Washington where he will prepare for the third and final presidential debate with Senator Obama on Wednesday.

Clintos and Obama
So Billary has decided to campaign for Obama. After the slime balls being flung by the McPalin duo the better angels of (Billary)nature took over. Bully for them. The world is awash with lowlifes posing as respectable behind the ugly facades of nationalism, nativism etc., etc. Let decency prevail.
